Jordan and Harper’s Surprise Pregnancy Announcement | Finnigan’s Run Farm

I was in for a surprise and I had no idea! Let me explain…

I met Jordan and Harper a while back when I was a second photographer on their wedding day! So when Jordan contacted me to get some couples photos done of her and Harper, I was so excited to say yes! We decided on Finnigan’s Run Farm to have some beautiful, open fields without all of the crowds (great decision, by the way!)

After we took a few of the “family” (meaning Jordan, Harper, and their dog of course), I got my surprise! Jordan started digging through her bag as she said to me, “So Becca…you can’t tell anyone yet, but this is actually an announcement.” I turn to see she had pulled out a bandana for their dog to wear announcing that they were expecting!! WHAT!!! I was SO excited for them, and SO excited I was getting to be a part of it! And also, I just really love surprises.

I got home that night and when my husband asked how the session went, I told him, “tonight was another reminder of why I love what I do.”

So, to Jordan and Harper- thank you for being that reminder to me. I am so happy for you two, and I just know that your child is going to have some awesome parents to look up to. Congratulations on this beautiful adventure!
