Oh, how I loved this Summerfield Farms Wedding! Gabrielle and Matt had to adapt multiple times throughout this year as their plans kept changing due to the pandemic. But I was so amazed and proud of how these two handled every curve ball thrown their way!
The day started off like weddings normally do for me. I was doing detail shots out on the porch of the bridal bungalow. As my creative juices were flowing, I heard constant laughs and fun music in the background. Gabby and her girls were having a blast and that meant my heart was happy. I love nothing more than knowing my couples are enjoying their wedding day.
Another favorite moment of mine was Gabby and Matt’s “first touch.” They really wanted to wait until the aisle to see each other, but they also wanted a special moment between the two of them before the ceremony. They decided to do a first touch right next to the big tree where their ceremony was being held. They closed their eyes, held hands, and said a prayer through their joyful tears. It was such a sweet moment I was honored to capture.
What I loved most about this wedding day was the amount of JOY I felt from everyone throughout the day- from the couple, to their family, to their friends! And not to mention, the staff at Summerfield Farms was amazing to not just the guests but the vendors as well. Overall, it was an amazing day and a wedding I won’t forget!
