Downtown Durham Wedding Photographer | Couple’s Session

Oh wow, how I loved this session! For this Durham Wedding Photographer, this session was a dream! When I first met Jessica, I immediately noticed her bright smile and warm personality. And as soon as I started clicking my shutter, she completely lit up!

I told Jessica and Kris at the beginning of the session that I’m not interested in “picture perfect” and to not focus too much on that. I’m more interested in the capturing the couple’s natural selves, because that is where the magic happens! (and as you can see below, magic definitely happened here!)

What I loved about these two is that they really trusted me enough to open up, be themselves, and have fun with it. And I think their constant laughing was a good indicator of how much fun they had!

Jessica and Kris- thank you for trusting me and allowing me to capture some fun memories of you two! I hope you enjoyed this time together as much as I did! It’s sessions like this one that remind me of why I do what I do, and why I love being a photographer so much.
